Say goodbye to the Brooklyn Flea Market and hello to The
Franklin Flea Indoor Market in Philadelphia.
The market located in the old historic Strawbridge’s building at 8th and Market Street
boasts and eclectic mix of vendors selling everything from antiques to jewelry
to handmade items. We met Ali Souli of Souli & Souli who makes beautiful
handmade leather shoes and boots. Ali, originally from Tunisia, explained that some of the
handmade shoes are also hand painted with North African Tuareg patterns
and the boots are mixed with leather and kilim rugs. Just by looking at them
you can tell that they are well made comfortable.
